Let's Rebuild Together

Do you live or own a house on the southside of 77th St or the north side of 85th St or on any of the streets in-between stretching from Troost to Paseo?

On January 9, 2020, the City Council passed ordinance 191042, creating an Urban Renewal Area (URA). The Marlborough Coalition initiated the study done in partnership with the UMKC School of Law, Stinson and the Economic Development Council of KC to help residents stay in their homes by alleviating the pressure of increasing property taxes when improvements are made to their home. This tax abatement program does not provide funds for making the $5,000 of qualifying repairs necessary to receive an abatement.
