The Marlborough Community Coalition believes that youth and young adults should have a positive and safe place where they can go to express their talent, wit, and ingenuity. We are giving youth a place to speak out and express themselves through art, music, dance, and song. We are giving youth a place to speak out to express their ideas, plans, and dreams by which they can make lasting changes in their communities. Join us!

Contest Rules

• Artists can enter on their own, through their school, home school or art studio.
• Artist must be in grades K-12 or 21 years of age or younger (not yet had their 22nd birthday) on June 9, 2018.
• Artist must reside in the United States.
• Please fully complete and return the entry form below along with a photo of your art to [email protected].
• Enter any art form that you have created; drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, collage, etc.
• Each entry must have been created by the artist since July 1, 2017.
• Artist may enter up to a total of 4 separate works of art. Art can be in any medium.
• Artist must be willing and able to deliver the art to the Center Alternative School on Thursday, June 7 between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. The art must be fully prepared and ready for display.
• Each work of art must be fully and completely created by the artist.
• Each work of art must have a 3" x 3" label with this information typed and securely applied to the front lower right:
  • Student Name (grade; age if out of high school)
  • Title
  • Medium
  • Size (need to have specific size listed)
• Must be present at the 3:00 p.m. Award Ceremony on June 9, 2018 to receive the cash prize.
